As a senior mechanical design engineer, you will develop innovative mechanical concepts and designs based on client requirements, technical specifications, and industry standards. You will lead the concept design phase, transforming ideas and rough sketches into detailed 3D models using CAD software.

You will conduct feasibility studies, including stress analysis, material selection, and cost estimation, to ensure that designs are viable and meet project goals. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are practical and efficiently produced.

You will generate detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly processes. You will perform design reviews, assess potential design risks, and implement necessary improvements to stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.

To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with 5-12 years of experience in mechanical design, specifically in concept design. You will require proficiency in CAD software, a strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in performing FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and other simulation techniques.
