Audio Visual Consultant Job Description

  • This is a highly skilled AV consultant role that involves collaborating with our expanding team in the field of audio-visual technology.
  • The ideal candidate will possess expertise in designing and implementing cutting-edge AV solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Gathering Requirements: Collecting requirements from end-users and customers for AV-related projects.
  2. Designing Solutions: Designing innovative solutions tailored to specific needs, incorporating industry best practices.
  3. Obtaining Approval: Obtaining business approval for proposed AV solutions.
  4. Providing Designs: Providing final designs to collaboration heads or vendor management teams for competitive quotes from vendors.
  5. Evaluating Proposals: Evaluating technical and commercial proposals received from vendors.
  6. Coordination: Coordinating downtime for room/site implementation after PO issuance to AV vendors.
  7. Verifying Drawings: Verifying drawings from vendors, ideally with intermediate AutoCAD knowledge.
  8. Collaboration: Collaborating with CIS/BU teams (Civil and MEP) for site readiness prior to AV system deployment.
  9. Project Coordination: Ensuring end-to-end project coordination, follow-up, and closure with vendors and internal teams.
  10. Customer Satisfaction: Maintaining customer satisfaction by executing projects efficiently.
  11. Documentation: Diligently documenting project lifecycles.
  12. Quality Checks: Performing quality checks on physical installations.
  13. Testing and Commissioning: Conducting testing and commissioning of AV systems.
  14. Handover: Taking handover from vendors, including proper documents, as-built drawings, operation manuals, and equipment specifications.
  15. Asset Management: Assisting Asset Management in verifying delivery adherence to PO terms and providing asset tags.
  16. Training: Handing over projects to Operations Teams/Customer with comprehensive training on installed systems.
  17. Remote Support: Offering remote first-level support for maintenance calls.
  18. Troubleshooting: Visiting sites to address issues or troubleshoot if needed.
  19. Health Checks: Performing periodic health checks on AV systems, providing insights on potential improvements.
  20. Proof-of-Concept Tests: Conducting extensive proof-of-concept tests for latest technologies.
