Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to create and configure continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines in Azure DevOps. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud services and be proficient in version control tools like Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure Repos.

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will design and implement automated deployment solutions using PowerShell scripting and ARM templates, ensuring seamless provisioning and deployment processes. Additionally, the candidate will maintain proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/AKS, and possess a solid understanding of branching strategies, release definitions, and release controls across stages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and configure CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, leveraging expertise in Azure cloud services.
  • Design and implement automated deployment solutions using PowerShell scripting and ARM templates, ensuring efficient provisioning and deployment processes.
  • Maintain proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/AKS.
  • Develop a solid understanding of branching strategies, release definitions, and release controls across stages.
  • Ensure seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams through effective communication and project management skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience creating CI/CD pipelines and configuring repositories in Azure DevOps.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and proficiency in version control tools like Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure Repos.
  • Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/AKS.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and ARM templates for automation of provisioning and deployments.
  • Experience writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or ARM templates.
