We are seeking an experienced leader to drive the growth and profitability of our Loan Against Property (LAP) business.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive national strategy for LAP to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability targets.
- Lead business development and growth initiatives for LAP, focusing on key market segments and regions.
- Define and drive the overall business model for LAP, including pricing, underwriting, and customer acquisition strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:- Develop and execute the national strategy for the LAP business to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability targets.
- Lead the business development and growth initiatives for LAP, focusing on key market segments and regions.
- Define and drive the overall business model for LAP, including pricing, underwriting, and customer acquisition strategies.
- Ensure alignment of business goals with organizational objectives to drive sustained growth.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a nationwide team of relationship managers, sales executives, and credit officers.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and development programs to build a high-performing team capable of meeting and exceeding business targets.
- Foster a collaborative and performance-oriented team culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key business clients, including SMEs, mid-market companies, and large corporates.
- Ensure the provision of superior service to business clients, handling complex queries, escalations, and relationship management.
- Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and offer tailored financial solutions.
- Drive the LAP portfolio growth, ensuring the achievement of revenue, profitability, and risk management targets.
- Monitor and manage the P&L for the LAP business, ensuring efficient cost management and resource allocation.
- Design and implement cross-sell and up-sell strategies to maximize revenue from existing clients.
- Ensure the effective management of credit, operational, and market risks associated with the LAP portfolio.
- Oversee the risk assessment, underwriting processes, and credit quality to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the credit team to ensure the maintenance of asset quality and adherence to lending standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and threats.
- Lead market research initiatives to identify new customer segments, regions, and distribution channels for LAP products.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to design and roll out promotional campaigns for the LAP business.
- Regularly report to senior management on the performance of the LAP business, including financial metrics, KPIs, and market performance.
- Utilize data and analytics to evaluate performance and identify areas of improvement.
