Job Overview:

Lead engineering authority for projects tenders with low to high complexity, driving technical solutions in coordination with other departments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive the technical solution of small, medium, or large projects tender with cost-effectiveness and in accordance with contract specifications and quality standards
  • Coordinate with Project Tendering teams, including System Engineering, Primary Mechanical Engineering, Secondary Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Commissioning, Project Managers, SCM, Civil, Steel Design functions, consultants, and end customers
  • Evaluate risks and opportunities, strategize mitigation of engineering disciplines, and interact with customers, contractors, suppliers
  • Attend project Tender meetings and present all technical aspects of project Tender assignments
  • Collaborate and network with engineering colleagues within the organization, share best practices across different projects and disciplines
  • Evaluate the overall cost of the engineering disciplines and get approved from Business Unit Heads
  • Utilize standard processes, tools, and techniques to ensure compliance with required safety regulations and contractual requirements
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in any Engineering Discipline (System Engineering, Primary Mechanical Engineering, Secondary Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering)
  • Experience with Medium to High Voltage Projects in Power System Industries (Arrestors, Reactors, Instrument Transformers, measuring equipment, Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors, Surge Knowledge)
  • Knowledge on International Standards (IEEE, IEC, GIGRE)
  • Strong Interpersonal and Presentation Skills, Comprehensive knowledge of related disciplines in the organization
  • Dynamic and Proactive, willing to grow in the organization, Fluent English and good communication skills
  • Team player, ready to play a role across different countries, High level of ownership and Very Good Negotiation, Persuasion Skills
