Financial Crimes Compliance Analyst

About this role:

This position is a key member of our Global Financial Crimes Division, supporting the coordination and delivery of financial crimes compliance issues programs globally.

The successful candidate will report to the Vice President, Head of Compliance IM Data Management in the Issues Management Operations Team.

  • Support the team in leading the identification, research, and coordination of financial crimes compliance issues data and information.
  • Develop data, analyses, reports, and presentation materials for senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Stay up-to-date with MUFG's financial crimes compliance framework, internal audit, and compliance testing.
  • Understand global Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions, and Anti-Bribery & Corruption regulatory regimes.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in Issues Management policy, standards, and procedures.
  • Partner with stakeholders to drive implementation of end-to-end GFCD Issues Management processes.
  • Document process for GFCD IM Data Management processes.
  • Support regional IM Units as part of the IM Global Utility Management team.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Financial Services, preferably in Compliance or related areas.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Team player with willingness to learn, take initiative, and work hard.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
