Job Role: Fraud Modeler Strategist

With extensive experience, you will specialize in designing and developing fraud risk models to detect and prevent financial crimes across various channels. You'll analyze emerging trends, assess fraud exposure, and support prevention initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Model Development & Validation: Build, implement, and validate fraud detection and prevention models using advanced statistical techniques.
  • Data Analysis & Interpretation: Analyze large-scale data to identify patterns and provide actionable insights.
  • Risk Assessment & Monitoring: Evaluate existing controls, monitor trends, and quantify exposure to evolving threats.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Present findings and model performance to stakeholders, including operations, compliance, and leadership.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of model development processes, risk assumptions, and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 6 to 7 years of hands-on experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining fraud risk models.
  • Skills: Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, R, or SAS for automation.
  • Machine Learning: Proficiency with machine learning techniques such as decision trees, clustering, anomaly detection, and neural networks.
