Job Title: Senior Manager- Data Privacy

This role is responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of data mapping and flow across various entities, as well as maintaining an updated data inventory in line with the company's data classification requirements.

The incumbent will assess group-level privacy program requirements and ensure that the program development meets all the necessary requirements.

  • Continuously engage with technology and business stakeholders to ensure that privacy considerations are integrated into every stage of product development, service offerings, and third-party engagements.
  • Conduct audits to implement policies and procedures across applications and business functions.
  • Perform quarterly privacy program reviews with gap analysis.
  • Ensure remediation plans are in place and implemented with regular follow-ups with stakeholders.
  • Perform due diligence on contracts in collaboration with the legal team.
  • Monitor privacy by design requirements across EXL's products and services to meet risk assessment and monitoring requirements.
  • Support other teams during regulatory inspections and reviews, interactions with government and regulatory bodies on privacy matters.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on the state of privacy highlighting risks and actions undertaken and planned.
  • Review privacy training implementation on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage end-to-end implementation and management of privacy tools at the group level.

  • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and identify trends.
