US Business Operations Manager

As a seasoned audit professional, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of assigned clients and serving as the main point of contact. The ideal candidate will have experience in US Audits and a strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
This role involves working with various engagement types, including Reviews, Audits, and Compilations. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of Seniors, Senior Associates, and Associates to manage client portfolios.
- Ensuring timely and high-quality work execution, aligned with audit methodology and client expectations.
- Developing and maintaining productive relationships with key client contacts.
- Proactively discussing workflow management with clients, allocating professionals to assigned work and monitoring performance against standards.
Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Articleship with Big4 or mid-tier accounting firms
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in US Audits for qualified candidates; 7+ years for non-qualified
- Expert knowledge of US GAAP and GAAS
- Proficiency in using various audit tools and applications
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective interpersonal, risk management, facilitation and presentation skills
- Project management, leadership, coaching, counselling and supervisory skills
