Logistics Operations Manager

The Logistics Operations Manager is a pivotal role that oversees the management of client coordination, order processing, and logistics operations with a strong emphasis on the BUSY software system. This position demands exceptional communication skills, effective organizational ability, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Coordinate with clients to comprehend their logistics requirements, process orders, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Receive and accurately process client orders, maintaining proper records and updating order status regularly.
  • Utilize BUSY Software for order entry, inventory management, billing, invoicing, and reporting.
  • Maintain open communication with internal teams (warehouse, transport, procurement) to ensure seamless operations and timely order fulfillment.
  • Monitor delivery schedules, track shipments, and resolve any logistical issues that arise during transportation.
  • Prepare reports related to orders, client communication, and logistics performance metrics.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures related to logistics and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of all logistics transactions, client interactions, and inventory movements.
  • Support periodic audits and documentation for regulatory compliance.
Requirements & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics operations or client coordination role.
  • Hands-on experience and strong working knowledge of BUSY Software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple client accounts and orders simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Customer-focused approach with a proactive attitude.
