Senior SAP Logistics Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP Logistics Solutions Architect to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who has a strong background in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM). As a key player in our SAP logistics team, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of complex integrated SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Logistics Solution Design: Lead the end-to-end logistics processes within SAP, covering SD and MM, and their integration with other SAP modules.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand logistics needs and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Strategic Insights: Provide strategic insights and direction on SAP logistics configurations, processes, and optimizations.

Solution Architecture:

1. Design and Implement Complex Integrated SAP Landscapes: Design and implement scalable, robust SAP logistics solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and long-term goals.
2. Ensure Seamless Data Flow: Architect SAP systems by integrating SD and MM, and other relevant modules, to ensure seamless data flow and system performance.
3. Industry Best Practices: Ensure alignment of solution designs with industry best practices and SAP standards.

Implementation & Project Management:

1. Lead Successful Project Delivery: Lead SAP logistics implementations, ensuring successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
2. Manage Cross-Functional Teams: Manage and coordinate across cross-functional teams (IT, business users, third-party vendors).
3. Drive Change Management: Drive change management and training initiatives to ensure successful adoption of the solution.

Support & Continuous Improvement:

1. Provide Ongoing Support: Provide ongoing support for SAP logistics systems, identifying and resolving system issues, bugs, and performance gaps.
2. Optimize Processes: Continuously optimize SAP logistics processes to improve efficiency, minimize costs, and support business growth.
3. Troubleshoot Complex Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues involving the integration of logistics processes with other SAP modules.

Integration & Coordination Across Modules:

1. Ensure Seamless Integration: Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD and MM, and other SAP modules (e.g., Finance, Production Planning, and Procurement).
2. Work Closely with Technical Teams: Work closely with technical teams to design, develop, and test integration points.
3. Consistency in Master Data Management: Ensure consistency in master data management across all logistics processes.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

1. Act as Primary Point of Contact: Act as the primary point of contact for logistics-related SAP activities across various business units.
2. Maintain Relationships: Maintain relationships with external vendors and in-house consultants to ensure project milestones are met.
3. Work Closely with Business Leaders: Work closely with business leaders to define and prioritize logistics requirements and ensure alignment with overall business strategy.

Documentation & Reporting:

1. Document Solutions Clearly: Document solutions, processes, and configurations clearly and comprehensively for future reference and knowledge sharing.
2. Create Reports and Dashboards: Create and present reports, dashboards, and status updates to senior management on project progress and system performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience working with SAP Logistics modules, including SD and MM.
• Solution Architecture: Extensive experience in solution architecture within SAP, including designing and implementing complex, integrated SAP landscapes.
• Integration Expertise: Strong understanding of integration between SAP modules (SD, MM, FICO, WM, PP) and external systems, including both data and process integration.
• Project Management: Experience in managing full-life cycle SAP implementation projects, from discover to go-live, as well as supporting post-implementation activities.
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of SAP configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
• Business Knowledge: Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and related business processes across industries.
• Leadership: Experience in leading cross-functional teams, mentoring junior consultants, and managing stakeholder relationships effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Certification: SAP certification in SD/MM or related logistics areas.
• SAP S/4HANA Experience: Experience with SAP S/4HANA and its logistics capabilities.
