Overview:

Deputy Lead, Project Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Lead, Project Management to join our team. In this role, you will play an instrumental part in executing one of the largest community-based sports transformation programs across Punjab.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Implementation & Operations: You will oversee daily operations of the Sports for Development program in target villages, coordinate with SPOCs, coaches, and field teams, and manage tournaments, engagement events, and talent scouting.
  • Manage government relationships to support program delivery and advocacy: Establish and maintain effective relationships with government stakeholders to ensure successful program implementation.
  • Liaise with departments for timely execution and clearances: Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth project execution and obtain necessary clearances.
  • Represent the organization in official meetings, forums, and events: Act as a representative of the organization in official settings, showcasing our mission and values.
  • Plan micro-level activities in line with annual goals: Develop and implement detailed plans to achieve program objectives and align with organizational goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience, or Master's degree with at least 5-7 years of similar experience
  • Proven ability to engage and build rapport with government stakeholders
  • Strong data management and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively within Punjab
