SAP Fiori Consultant Job Description:

The role of a SAP Fiori consultant involves the design and development of user-centric applications using SAP Fiori and UI5 technologies.

  • Design and develop SAP Fiori applications utilizing SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript programming languages.
  • Develop and extend standard Fiori apps using SAP Web IDE or Business Application Studio.
  • Integrate Fiori apps with SAP backend systems utilizing OData services.
  • Collaborate closely with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into user-friendly interfaces.
  • Perform performance tuning and optimization of Fiori applications.
  • Provide guidance on Fiori design principles and SAP UX strategy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in SAP, with at least 5+ years in SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
  • Ability to develop transactional apps, customize, and extend standard Fiori apps.
  • Knowledge of Fiori Launchpad configuration.
  • Strong expertise in SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JSON.
  • Experience in RAP & Fiori elements.
  • Experience in developing and consuming OData services.
  • Familiarity with SAP Gateway and basic ABAP development (RFCs, BAPIs).
  • Understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and Fiori design guidelines.
  • Experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) or SAP Web IDE.
  • Proficiency in Git, version control, and CI/CD practices is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Performance Tuning, Testing, and Debugging skills.
