Job Title: In-House Counsel for Compliance and Regulatory Affairs

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned In-House Counsel to lead our compliance and regulatory affairs efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, with expertise in compliance, regulatory affairs, and whistleblower programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective compliance programs to mitigate risk and ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement policies and procedures that align with business objectives.
  3. Analyze complex regulatory issues and provide strategic advice to senior leadership.
  4. Manage enterprise-wide compliance initiatives, including whistleblower programs and reporting mechanisms.
  5. Partner with internal stakeholders to develop training programs and communications that promote a culture of compliance.
  6. Stay up-to-date on emerging regulatory trends and developments, providing guidance and recommendations to the organization.
  7. Lead investigations and remediation efforts, ensuring timely and effective resolution of compliance matters.
  8. Maintain open lines of communication with various functions, including facilities, government relations, finance, and sales/delivery teams.
  9. Support executive management by developing responses and defenses to complaints, investigations, and administrative proceedings.
  10. Advise on public policy matters, working closely with government relations teams.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent with significant experience as compliance counsel.
  • Additional qualifications such as Certified Anti-Corruption Specialist (CACS) or Certified Compliance Professional (CCP) are highly valued.
