
Senior Patent Attorney

As a seasoned Patent Professional, you will lead our patent drafting & prosecution practice. You will be responsible for independently drafting high-quality patent applications in US, EP, and India, as well as preparing and reviewing responses to office actions from the USPTO, EPO, and Indian Patent Office.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Patent Drafting & Prosecution
- Independently draft patent applications in US, EP, and India.
- Prepare and review responses to office actions from the USPTO, EPO, and Indian Patent Office.
- Ensure all work meets jurisdiction-specific legal and technical requirements.
- Project & Team Management
- Manage a team of professionals on drafting and prosecution assignments.
- Review drafts prepared by team members, providing feedback to improve quality.
- Oversee project timelines, workload distribution, and delivery commitments.
- Client Engagement
- Collaborate with inventors, counsel, and R&D teams to capture inventions.
- Provide strategic advice on patentability, prosecution, and portfolio development.
- Maintain strong client communication.
- Quality & Process Development
- Establish best practices for patent drafting and prosecution.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members.
- Continuously improve processes for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
- Law degree (desirable).
- Patent agent qualification required.
- 5-8 years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution with a law firm or IP services company.
- Hands-on experience in drafting patent applications and preparing responses to office actions for US, EP, and India.
- Prior experience in managing professionals or leading projects.
