Job Title: Pipe Stress Engineer

• Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive stress analysis and pipe support design for above-ground and underground pipelines.
• Identify critical data required to conduct surge analysis at various project stages.
• Conduct in-depth surge analysis of metallic and non-metallic pipes using PIPENET software.
• Determine the appropriateness of extracted surge forces and prepare detailed reports as official deliverables.
• Analyze systems and processes for pressure surges, providing expert recommendations to mitigate them.
• Perform technical reviews of stress analysis and pipe support calculations for complex piping systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for safe and reliable design.
• Apply accurate load cases correctly to ensure robust designs.
• Collaborate with vendors to obtain necessary pipe properties for design purposes.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of relevant design codes and standards (ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ISO 14692).
• Develop job execution plans, work instructions, and standard drawings aligned with ITB requirements.
• Evaluate man-hours for projects/proposals and allocate tasks to assigned engineers.
• Oversee project schedules, quality, and budgeted man-hours to ensure successful project delivery.
• Foster strong relationships with clients/PDC/vendors to resolve key issues effectively.
• Monitor and adhere to all technical requirements and deliverables as per ITB/contract.
• Review vendor data and drawings to ensure conformity to ITB requirements.
• Promote value engineering solutions and implement them in consultation with other disciplines, obtaining client approval.
