Mechanical CAD Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical CAD Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience with precision part design and documentation for CNC-machined and cast components.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing simulations and tests to validate designs, creating technical drawings and documentation, and applying GD&T per ISO and ASME Y14.5 standards to define form, fit, and function of parts.

The role requires collaboration with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to iterate on designs and provide technical input on manufacturability.

The successful candidate will have 2–7 years of hands-on experience in 2D mechanical engineering for products from prototype to production, with a primary focus on CNC machining and casting.

Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and other CAD software is required. A strong working knowledge of GD&T principles and ISO or ASME Y14.5 certification are preferred but not mandatory.

About the Role

  • Design and develop high-quality mechanical components and assemblies using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify design requirements and ensure manufacturability.
  • Analyze and resolve design issues and conflicts.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and instructions.

Key Responsibilities
