In this role, you will work closely with our engineering group to develop innovative design solutions for mechanical equipment and offshore wind projects. Your expertise in CAD software will be essential in driving the creation of 3D models and 2D drawings.">

Main Responsibilities:

  2. Design Development: Develop 3D models and 2D drawings using Solid Edge and AutoCAD.">
  3. Report Preparation: Prepare report figures and detailed drawings as directed.">
  4. Design Improvements: Perform design changes and improvements according to project demands.">
  5. Project Estimation: Estimate, budget, and plan marine operation projects.">
  6. Coordination: Coordinate with engineers on deliverable timelines and schedules.">
  7. Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks on own work.">
  8. Team Management: Inform and manage the engineering team about projects and planning.">
  9. Customer Meetings: Participate in project review sessions and meetings with customers.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in design projects in the marine/offshore/mechanical/civil steel structural industry.">
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical/Civil/Offshore Engineering/Naval Architecture or comparable.">
  • Expert-level knowledge in CAD software Solid Edge and AutoCAD.">
  • Ability to understand engineering drawings and convert 2D drawings to 3D models and vice versa.">
  • Organized self-starter able to prioritize work.">
  • Document control skills.">
  • Experience in hand calculation and results interpretation.">
  • Collaboration skills with team members.">
