Financial Director Role

The Financial Director will be responsible for producing high-quality financial information in a timely manner. This includes ensuring compliance with statutory accounts, local requirements in accounting, finance, and tax, as well as international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce accurate and reliable accounting and financial information on time.
  • Ensure the company complies with statutory accounts and any other return related to local requirements in accounting, finance, and tax, as well as international standards.
  • Monitor all accounting and financial activities, including accounts receivable & accounts payable, general ledger, and monthly close.
  • Manage and supervise working capital and cash flow of the entity, including monitoring customer credit and collection.
  • Apply and improve financial policies, procedures, accounts system, and controls within the entity, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate with Senior Leadership as well as Partners of any fraud and/or compliance issue.
  • Manage all elements of internal and external compliance reporting and projections.
  • Deliver value-added business analysis as well as defining and reporting meaningful financial and operational metrics that lead to insightful, accurate business decision-making.
  • Prepare consolidated management reports for Senior Leadership, including monthly/quarterly reporting package that includes full financial statements, comprehensive Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting, operational dashboard reporting, analysis of key business trends, actual versus budget, and last year variances, and comprehensive executive level explanations of differences.
  • Maintain constant awareness of financial performance versus plan, identify potential risks, and proactively address any issues to prevent financial misses.
  • Control quality and compliance of all produced reportings with regulatory requirements - monthly closing - prepared by local teams.
  • Build strategic plans of the entity with Senior Leadership and ensure its monitoring.
  • Coach, manage, and develop finance team, building finance function that guarantees reliability of financial statements.
  • Ensure that all members of finance team are trained, confident, and kept fully up to date with all aspects of finance, local and international accounting regulations, and best practices.
  • Be a business partner of Senior Leadership in all development and optimization projects of the entity and assure efficient communication with Partners regarding project progress.
  • Linked with Senior Leadership, serve as reference for local authorities in scope of responsibilities: financial institutions, legal auditors, and Group internal departments.
  • Monitor financing and related commitment and assure relation with banks.

Requirements and Specific Skills:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Master 2 in Finance, Management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial analysis methods and techniques as well as great expertise of IFRS, internal control principles, and closing/reporting processes.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in similar position.
  • Fluent English.
  • Organized, dynamic, autonomous, having strategic vision and strong financial knowledge.
  • Leadership, strong interpersonal and communication skills, team worker.
