Job Description:

As a key member of the finance team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing end-to-end accounting and financial processes. This includes managing accounts payable (P2P), accounts receivable (R2R), and order-to-cash (O2C) operations for our respective business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Leadership:
    • Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly financial close
    • Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and enforce company accounting policies and practices
    • Manage delivery of accurate financial reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
    • Verify that financial accounts are properly supported and reconciled
    • Lead financial close reviews with finance leadership, including month-end review and finalization of P&L accounts, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements
    • Collaborate with internal teams to identify aging issues and implement suitable solutions
    • Oversee interim audits, due diligence, statutory audits, GST audits, and other related activities
    • Prepare the organization for statutory and tax audits, as well as financial due diligence
  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Support specific business units with end-to-end finance operational support
    • Develop and manage financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability for designated business units
    • Provide timely, accurate, and insightful analysis of financial results to stakeholders
    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities driving strategic decision-making
    • Serve as a single source of truth for financial metrics and performance drivers
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product, and operations, to ensure alignment on financial goals and initiatives
    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, including investors, partners, and vendors
  • Other Activities/Initiatives:
    • Familiarity with nodal accounts, payment gateway reconciliations, e-commerce transactions is preferred

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated, results-driven individual with a positive attitude and high integrity
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, accounting, and reporting software
  • Candidate with expertise in dealing with auditors and consultants is preferred
  • Advanced expertise in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel (Pivots, Lookup, Conditional Functions, Power BI, etc.)
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • High-energy individual with a sense of urgency, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
