Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced System Architect to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.

The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring and administering cloud environments, developing high-availability and disaster recovery solutions, and overseeing automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises resources.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud architectures
  • Developing and maintaining high-availability and disaster recovery solutions
  • Monitoring and analyzing system performance to identify trends and implement improvements
  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior support tiers and acting as an escalation resource for all technologies under the Platform Engineering umbrella
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience administering Okta
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
  • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
  • Proven hands-on experience supporting the Okta SSO Platform
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, and routing
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
