Cloud Architect Role Overview

The Cloud Architect role in our Advisory team plays a pivotal part in planning and designing SAP landscapes for customers. This involves guiding them through the process of migrating to the SAP RISE Platform, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as S/4HANA, HANA Database, MDG, and SaaS Products like Ariba and Salesforce.

This is an elevated position suitable for experienced SAP Basis consultants who aspire to take their careers to the next level. As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for creating to-be landscape architecture designs, collaborating closely with SAP sales teams and customer leaders to comprehend their requirements and provide solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in REX (SAP Basis, SAP HANA, and S/4 HANA skills), migration/upgrades, and experience on any cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP). You should possess excellent communication skills, be able to articulate complex technical concepts, and have experience in customer-facing roles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bill Of Material Review & Analysis: Validate the technical accuracy of the Bill Of Material to ensure that no obsolete product version is selected for building on the SAP RISE platform.
  • Provide Feedback to Sales Team: Offer feedback to the Sales Team on the Bill Of Material to confirm whether the selected product and version are available for building.
  • Technical Validation of Customer Landscape: Conduct technical validation of the customer landscape to verify product version build viability.
  • Analyze Early Watch Reports & Technical Data: Analyze Early Watch Reports and Technical Data to validate hardware selection/sizing.
  • Collaborate with Sales Team on Architecture: Work closely with the Sales Team on architecture, landscape, and to-be sizing.
