Costing Specialist Role

As a Costing Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, analyzing bill of materials (BOM) and implementing pricing strategies. This role requires strong analytical skills to provide insights on factors affecting prices and margins of products.

  • Prepare comprehensive cost estimates
  • Update BOMs in SAP and analyze yield of raw materials
  • Develop pricing strategies based on cost and market analysis
  • Provide management inputs on factors affecting prices and margins
  • Review manufacturing operations and expense comparison between factories

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce with Certified Management Accountant (CMA) qualification
  • Intermediate certification in Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of India (ICWAI)
  • 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in cost accounting or related field
