  • Job Title: Legal Counsel
  • Location: Mumbai
  • Experience: 6 to 8 years
Key Purpose & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced legal professional to join our team as a Legal Counsel. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support to our agencies across South Asia.

  1. Provide legal advice on a broad range of matters, including commercial, employment, intellectual property, data privacy, ethics, compliance, and generative artificial intelligence (GAI).
  2. Manage litigation and arbitration matters, including civil, criminal, labour, property, and commercial disputes.
  3. Draft, negotiate, and advise on commercial agreements, ensuring the most advantageous legal and commercial terms for our company.
  4. Collate and maintain records and correspondence relating to litigation and compliance matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • LL.B with 6-8 years post-qualification experience as an in-house lawyer and/or in law firms.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a solution-oriented approach.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Ability to identify legal risks, issues, and solutions across a broad spectrum of legal areas.
