Job Opportunity:

A seasoned legal professional with 8 to 14 years of experience in corporate law is sought for the position of Corporate Counsel. The role will be based in the Legal Department, where you will play a crucial part in ensuring compliance and integrity within the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of corporate compliance programs and be able to advise on their implementation effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor risk and compliance issues, identifying areas for mitigation and remediation.
  • Provide guidance and assistance in reviewing and drafting policies, guidelines, and SOPs related to regulatory compliance.
  • Advise on data protection and privacy legislations, including incident management and record retention.
  • Support cybersecurity compliance and risk management, advising on disclosure requirements to regulators.
  • Ensure compliance with immigration laws in EU, APAC, and MEA regions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLB/LLM) along with relevant experience as a compliance counsel, preferably in multinational corporations.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations, including Data Privacy, Cyber Security, Immigration, and Mobility.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage and support review and audit exercises.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive matters.
