Job Title: Identity Engineer



This role is all about integrating and maintaining Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities across the organization.

  • We're looking for a highly skilled engineer who can design, implement, and maintain PingFederate solutions using protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SCIM, and WSFed.
  • You'll work closely with application owners, security teams, and third-party vendors to integrate enterprise applications with identity providers like Ping Identity, Azure AD, Okta, or ADFS.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving SSO-related issues, including authentication failures and integration errors, will be a key part of this role.
  • You'll collaborate with application teams to onboard new applications into the SSO ecosystem.
  • Maintaining documentation for SSO configurations, policies, and procedures will also be an important responsibility.
  • Monitoring and auditing SSO activity to ensure compliance with security policies will be crucial in this position.
  • Staying up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in identity and access management will be essential.
  • You'll be responsible for upgrading PingFederate version and performing disaster recovery tests quarterly.
  • Familiarity with user and group provisioning will also be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Web SSO technologies and standards, such as SAML and Kerberos, will be valuable in this role.


Requirements:
  • Experience with identity providers and identity management systems is a must.
  • A good understanding of certificate renewal will also be necessary.
