Key Responsibilities:

An essential role in our organization involves overseeing contract management across various projects.

  • Preparation, review, and negotiation of contracts for goods, services, and construction projects.
  • Maintenance of a database of all contract documents, ensuring they are updated and stored securely.
  • Performance monitoring of contracts to ensure both parties meet their obligations.

Collaboration with Stakeholders:

  • Work closely with the project management team to ensure clear understanding and adherence to contract terms throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the PMO in managing contract risks, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.

Contract Administration and Compliance:

  • Administer the contractual process, including reviewing and executing contracts, amendments, and renewals.
  • Monitoring project timelines and ensuring contract deadlines are met, providing updates as necessary.

Procurement and Vendor Management:

  • Assist in sourcing and selecting suppliers, contractors, and service providers in accordance with project needs and contractual requirements.
  • Managing vendor relationships, ensuring all parties meet contractual obligations.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Providing regular reports on the status of contracts, including key milestones, issues, or delays.
  • Assisting with preparation of contract-related documents, including correspondence, reports, and presentations.

Risk Management:

  • Identifying potential risks related to contract execution, including financial, legal, and operational risks.
  • Supporting the contract dispute resolution process, managing any issues that arise with vendors, subcontractors, or clients.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in contract management, procurement, or project management, preferably in construction, engineering, or similar industries.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of contract law, principles, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
