About the Role

As a seasoned Oracle Database Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of database management operations.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Grid Installation and Upgradation, with a strong background in Oracle RAC, Performance Tuning, Dataguard, and Golden Gate.

  • Key Requirements:
  • A deep understanding of Oracle database architecture
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to resolve performance issues
  • Specialized knowledge of Oracle RAC, including complexity across Servers, OS, network, and storage layer
  • Exposure to Oracle Engineered systems, such as Exadata, SSC box, and ExaCM
  • Advanced SQL tuning skills and experience refactoring queries for improved performance
  • Ability to diagnose performance issues from SQL to Application to Database to System to Storage
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in production environments
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of database administrators
  • Designing and implementing high-availability solutions
  • Collaborating with development teams to resolve performance issues
  • Providing expert-level support for database-related tasks
  • Developing and maintaining documentation for database procedures
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A minimum of 18 years of experience in database administration
  • Prior working experience in Telecom or BFSI companies
  • Mandatory skills in RAC (Installation, Upgradation, and Management), Database backup and recovery, DB Migration, and performance tuning
