Job Role:

Corporate Placement Coordinator
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage student placements ensuring seamless transitions between academic and professional life.
  • Collaborate with industries to offer vocational training courses aligning with institutional goals.
  • Foster relationships with employers by facilitating on-campus and off-campus interviews for meritorious students.
  • Conduct thorough background checks on students seeking internships or externships verifying their qualifications.
  • Work with the industry-institute interaction coordinator to organize webinars and lectures from professionals and experts.
  • Develop a Placement Preparation Module guiding students in preparation for campus placement.
  • Review student performance in the Corporate Sector gathering feedback from companies.
  • Organize workshops and seminars for training managers and faculty members of various organizations.
  • Arrange training programs for soft skills and interview-facing skills utilizing institutional and external expertise.
  • Prepare Placement reports after Placement Drives/Job Fairs.
  • Enhance collaborations with industries and associations for placement drives and Mega Job Fairs/Career Fairs.
  • Hold regular meetings with college-level TPOs to understand placement requirements.
  • Develop a Management Information System (MIS) on placement of passed-out students and create a database of recruiting industries and organizations.
  • Assist students in developing successful job search strategies.
  • Work with faculty members department heads and administration to integrate career planning with academic curriculum.
  • Provide resources and activities to facilitate the career-planning process.
  • Act as an interface among students alumni and the employment community.
  • Create awareness in students regarding future career options.
  • Conduct regular assessments of student performance.
