Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer, you will simulate the site-specific benefit of our upgrade portfolio while verifying the structural integrity of installed wind turbines.
- Re-assess existing/planned wind farms to confirm compatibility and structural integrity using an internal tool chain.
- Assess site-specific wind conditions, apply mechanical load mitigation strategies, run bucket approaches, and evaluate lifetime extension possibilities.
- Support upgrades sales by creating benefit calculations, driving validation campaigns, and initiating implementation.
- Collaborate with global service regions and after-sales colleagues to convince customers and stakeholders.
Career Requirements
- Completed university studies in Engineering or Business/Economics with a strong technical background.
- 5-10 years of experience in wind & site assessments, mechanical loads department, or equal technical service organisations in the wind energy industry.
- Highly analytical with a holistic approach and strong problem-solving skills.
- Self-driven, focused, and pragmatic with demonstrated ability to bring topics to success in complex environments.
