Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead new business growth and large account retention
  • Engage in strategic discussions with senior executives and directors
  • Cross-sell products to existing clients
  • Excel in claims advocacy and servicing
  • Understand different insurers, their strengths, and weaknesses
  • Identify key decision makers, client or prospect risks, needs, and determine the services, products, and combinations that will best serve and address the client/prospect's issues and objectives
  • Analyze existing policies, suggest better terms, and negotiate with markets
  • Retain and expand existing client relationships
  • Develop and maintain effective networks within the business community and industry
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Regularly visit insurance companies for continuous engagement with stakeholders
  • Team management capabilities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage and build relationships with internal and external customers, insurance partners, and servicing vendors
  • Domain knowledge preferred
  • MBA degree
  • Technical knowledge - MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • 10-15 years of corporate relationship management experience from a service background
  • Ability to manage diverse client cultures of Indian corporate, MNC corporation, and PSU clients
  • Experience in insurance companies/insurance broking company
  • Proven track record of success in sales roles with a focus on driving revenue growth and exceeding targets
  • Deep understanding of employer market segment and their unique demands and purchasing style
  • Proven ability to establish relationships and work collaboratively with teams at all levels to effectively close business
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies in a competitive market environment
  • Interest and aptitude in keeping abreast of latest developments in health and benefits space
  • Results-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
