Factory Operations Manager

About a growing bakery company with operations in multiple locations.
The Production Manager leads end-to-end factory operations across shifts, managing production workforce to deliver safe, high-quality output at optimal cost.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule daily/weekly/monthly production.
- Improve efficiency, yield, and OEE; reduce waste and downtime through Lean methods.
- Enforce recipes and specifications.
- Plan requirements with procurement; maintain inventories.
- Oversee manpower allocation and rosters.
- Lead product trials and scale-up for new products from pilot to full production.
- Ensure compliance with regulations.
- Track and report KPIs (volume, OEE, yield, waste); analyze trends and implement improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bakery/Pastry Chef or Engineering Background.
- 10+ years in production leadership within bread/bakery/confectionery.
- Proven multi-shift management experience.
- Deep knowledge of bakery processes, equipment, and ingredients.
- Strong command of production planning and Lean tools.
- Knowledge of food-safety protocols.
Ideal Profile:

- Problem-solver with a hands-on approach.
- Process-driven and data-led; improves systems continuously.
- Clear communicator with management and operators.
