Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Audio Video Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience with audio and video conferencing systems, distributed audio, digital signage, and control systems. They will be responsible for installing, setting up, and maintaining these systems, as well as performing structured cabling tasks.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and think critically. They will also be able to communicate effectively with remote teams and vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure AV equipment, including audio and video conferencing systems, distributed audio, digital signage, and control systems.
  • Perform structured cabling tasks, including pulling, terminating, and testing cables.
  • Work with remote teams to resolve issues and ensure SLAs are met.
  • Interface with end users and vendors to address requests and requirements.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 0-2 years of related experience or training.
  • Strong understanding of wiring and termination skills, as well as proper installation techniques.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently, think critically, and adapt to changing situations.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
  • Must have dexterity of hands and fingers to operate computer keyboards, mice, power tools, and other office equipment.
  • Must have ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, or use lifts safely.
  • Must be able to lift and transport moderate-heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds).
