We are seeking a skilled JIRA Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and configuring JIRA environments to support project tracking issue management and agile workflows.

This role involves setting up and maintaining JIRA projects, workflows, permissions, and custom fields. You will also administer JIRA user accounts and groups, ensuring integration with tools like PowerBI, Python, and Jenkins for reporting and automation.

The role of a JIRA Administrator typically includes the following responsibilities:

  • System Configuration Maintenance
    • Set up and maintain JIRA projects, workflows, permissions, and custom fields.
    • Administer JIRA user accounts and groups.
    • Ensure integration with tools like PowerBI, Python, and Jenkins for reporting and automation.
  • Workflow Issue Management
    • Create and manage issue types, screens, and field configurations.
    • Implement and maintain custom workflows tailored to project needs.
    • Track and manage review cycles using JIRA for various stages such as Supervisor Review, SME Review, DRA Review, and Author Rework.
  • Automation Scripting
    • Configure automation rules for notifications, transitions, and field updates.
    • Use scripting tools and plugins to enhance JIRA functionality.
    • Example: Jenkins integration for JIRA logging and automated test result uploads.
  • Reporting Dashboards
    • Develop dashboards and reports for stakeholders using JIRA and integrated tools.
    • Export and analyze EPIC-level data for planning and implementation tracking.
  • User Support Training
    • Provide support to users on JIRA usage and best practices.
    • Conduct training sessions and create help documentation.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills and experience with JIRA administration, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
