Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Kafka Administrator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kafka Administration, with experience in installing, configuring, and managing large-scale Kafka clusters.

Responsibilities include performing upgrades, patches, and disaster recovery planning, ensuring security, availability, scalability, and fault tolerance of Kafka clusters, monitoring performance, collecting metrics, and optimizing configurations.

Able to automate Kafka cluster installations, topic/Acl/connector deployments and troubleshoot issues in Kafka and related ecosystems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong Knowledge of Kafka Administration (Confluent & AWS MSK)
  • Experience with Big Data and Hadoop Ecosystem
  • Proficient in Apache Spark and Linux/Unix Systems and Windows Server
  • Shell/Python Scripting skills
  • Automation Tools: Ansible, Terraform, GitOps
  • CI/CD Tools: GitLab, Jenkins
  • Monitoring Tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace
  • Atlassian Stack: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket (Git)
