Job Title: Apparel Merchandiser

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Apparel Merchandiser.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  1. To be responsible for all merchandise-related issues and coordinate with vendors for designated departments.
  2. To work closely with the merchandising team to ensure that all deliveries meet assigned purchase orders.
  3. To identify potential future product offerings by conducting thorough research on customer needs and technological trends.
  4. To develop pricing strategies in collaboration with the marketing department and management, aiming for optimal pricing agreements with suppliers.
  5. To source products at the right time to meet customer requirements and maximize current sourcing channels.
  6. To support negotiations and work with the supply base to achieve best costs and margins.
  7. To collaborate with designers on style development, design research trips, fabric and print advice, and identifying best-selling styles.
  8. To manage stock, style options, quantities, promotions, and markdowns in close coordination with the merchandising team.
  9. To conduct market research to track competitors' activities, understand trends, forecasting, color, fabric, etc.
  10. To review and adjust season plans and weekly plans accordingly.
  • Key Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with industry trends and technologies.
