Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures across enterprise environments.

This role is crucial to ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational data by defending against network-based threats and vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy secure network architectures for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and network access control systems.
  • Monitor network traffic and security events using IDS/IPS and SIEM platforms.
  • Conduct regular network vulnerability assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with SOC and IT teams to investigate and remediate network-related incidents.
  • Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Perform risk assessments and threat modeling for network infrastructure.
  • Ensure secure configuration and patching of routers, switches, and other network devices.
  • Lead network segmentation and zero-trust initiatives to reduce attack surface.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, SNMP) and experience with IDS/IPS tools (e.g., Snort, Suricata, Cisco Firepower).

In addition, the candidate should have hands-on experience with packet analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump) and scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and security tasks. Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, PCNSE are beneficial.

Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for this position. The candidate must be able to work effectively in a collaborative environment and communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
