Senior Network Architect Position

We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Architect to lead the design and implementation of our Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions using Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI).

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex data center networks, working with ACI fabric, integrating with virtualization and automation platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure APIC, leaf/spine switches, policies, contracts, EPGs, and tenants.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize ACI deployments and fabric connectivity.
  • Integrate ACI with third-party systems like VMware vCenter and firewalls.
  • Manage data center migrations and network transformations to ACI architecture.
  • Develop and maintain ACI-related documentation and runbooks.
  • Collaborate with network security and cloud teams for policy enforcement.
  • Assist in network automation using Ansible and Python scripting for ACI API.
  • Monitor and resolve network issues using ITIL processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, APIC, and fabric components.
  • Good understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, MPLS.
  • Familiarity with Nexus 9000 series switches.
  • Experience in integrating ACI with VMware.
  • Understanding of multitenancy, VRF, BD, EPG, and contracts in ACI.
  • Knowledge of automation tools like Python and REST API.
  • Network monitoring tools like Cisco DCNM and SolarWinds.

Desirable Skills:

  • Cisco certifications like CCNP Data Center and CCIE Data Center.
  • 5-10 years of experience in enterprise networking and 3+ years in Cisco ACI.
