Senior Financial Strategist

Our organization is seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Strategist to lead our investment team's financial analysis efforts.

This role entails conducting thorough financial assessments of investment opportunities across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, private equity, real estate, and alternative investments. The successful candidate will develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for valuation, forecasting, sensitivity, and scenario planning purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive financial analyses and recommendations for senior management and the investment committee.
  • Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and optimize portfolio performance.
  • Prepare detailed investment reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, identifying key metrics and market trends that impact investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation initiatives by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred).
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, investment research, or corporate finance, preferably in an investment company or asset management environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling techniques, including DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar financial databases is beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
