Key Job Role Overview
The Marketing Operations Manager will oversee key marketing activities to drive sales and brand growth. This role is responsible for managing operational aspects of marketing, focusing on exhibitions, social media coordination, budget management, product materials, sales collaterals, and vendor management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Exhibitions & Trade Shows:
- Manage all deadlines for exhibitions and events, ensuring timely delivery of booth materials, samples, and collateral to event locations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather information, ensure accurate and timely upload of visitor data captured during events to CRM systems.
- Act as liaison between the company and external social media agencies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Packaging, Sales) to source content ideas and product information.
- Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of social media content, ensuring brand consistency across touchpoints.
- Track marketing expenses and ensure adherence to allocated budgets.
- Collaborate with finance teams for invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
- Drive creation, review, and distribution of marketing materials (brochures, presentations, product sheets).
- Coordinate with design agencies, internal teams, and printers for timely execution.
- Identify and evaluate vendors in key markets for printing, branding, gifting, and events.
- Negotiate terms and ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables.
- Ensure consistent implementation of brand identity across all touchpoints and materials.
- Manage end-to-end execution of branded merchandise (T-shirts, diaries, calendars, gifting items, labels, packaging materials).
- Liaise with creative, sourcing, and procurement teams to ensure quality, timeliness, and budget compliance.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. MBA is a plus.
· 2-4 years of experience in marketing operations, branding or coordination.
· Industry background – preferably FMCG or marketing/creative agency background with experience in managing BTL activities.
· Strong project management and multitasking skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Sharp eye for detail and good design sensibility to ensure brand consistency.
· Experience in working with agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
· Highly organized, proactive, and driven to deliver results under tight timelines.
