Technical Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Architect to lead the design and implementation of complex software systems. As an integral part of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our technical roadmap and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the design and architecture of highly scalable, reliable, and performant backend systems and microservices.
  2. Develop robust and efficient backend solutions using PHP and Python.
  3. Design and implement complex features leveraging PHP, with a strong emphasis on MVC (Model-View-Controller) architectural patterns.
  4. Develop high-performance APIs and services using Python, with demonstrated proficiency in either Flask or FastAPI.
  5. Design, optimize, and manage database schemas for both SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra) databases.
  6. Provide technical guidance, conduct thorough code reviews, and mentor engineers, fostering their growth and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  7. Champion clean code principles, test-driven development (TDD), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
  8. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues across various layers of the application.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in software development, with a significant portion in backend development.
  • Proficiency in PHP, with extensive experience in designing and implementing applications adhering to the MVC architectural pattern.
  • Expert proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience and a strong understanding of either Flask or FastAPI for building robust web services and APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases and experience with at least one relational database system.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
