Senior Customer Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Customer Support Specialist.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer support and technical assistance to our clients. This includes troubleshooting, resolving, and escalating complex issues related to SIMATIC DCS systems (PCS 7 & PCS neo).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve customer problem statements on SIMATIC DCS systems (PCS 7 & PCS neo)
  • Handle escalations and provide support on SIMATIC DCS systems (PCS 7 & PCS neo)
  • Set up test environments in the lab for different types of customer problem statements, involving product configuration
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and related applications for troubleshooting purposes
  • Write bug reports and verify them after fixes
  • Interact with business partners and customers for technical clarifications
  • Prepare technical content for training sessions, online workshops, and virtual classroom trainings
  • Conduct training sessions for our products as needed

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Electrical, Electronics & Communications or Instrumentation Engineering with 5-10 years of total experience in Industrial Automation
  • Experience working on PCS7 & PCS neo
  • Proficiency in redundant PLCs/Failsafe configurations
  • In-depth knowledge of SCADA HMI
  • Hands-on experience with continuous and sequential control logics
  • Knowledge of communication interfaces like MPI, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet, TCP/IP
  • Product testing expertise
  • Commissioning experience of process plants (batch applications) is an added advantage
