Senior Internal Audit Expert

As a seasoned internal auditor, you will assume a pivotal role in spearheading risk-based internal audits across operational, financial, and compliance spheres.
The ideal candidate will possess 9+ years of post-qualification experience in CA and a strong background in internal audit, with the capability to design, implement, and monitor controls. They will also demonstrate exceptional client communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to originate and convert business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute annual risk-based audit plans, overseeing engagements from start to finish.
- Design and test controls, issuing clear and prioritized reports with actionable recommendations.
- Lead audit teams, mentor reviewers, and manage senior client stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mid-tier consulting/CA firm experience with extensive IA exposure.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Outcomes and Deliverables:
- Finalize risk-based plan and align scope and timelines with stakeholders within 30 days.
- Establish controls documentation/testing cadence and deliver first reports with agreed actions within 60 days.
- Launch a lightweight monitoring dashboard and showcase remediation progress, contributing one qualified BD lead within 90 days.
