Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Migration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our database migration initiative, you will be responsible for transitioning our data from Fivetran to Nexla with Snowflake as the target data platform.

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in database migration, ETL development, and automation to drive business growth and innovation.

  • Migrate ETL pipelines and plugins from Fivetran into Nexla/Snowflake.
  • Design and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Python, PySpark, DBT, and related tools.
  • Build API-based integrations for authentication, pagination, and automation.
  • Ensure high-quality data, consistency, and monitoring across pipelines.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will execute migrations from Fivetran and other legacy connectors into Snowflake/Nexla. They will design and maintain ETL pipelines, build API-driven integrations, and ensure data quality and monitoring.

  • Develop and optimize ETL pipelines using Python, PySpark, and DBT.
  • Implement automation for ingestion, transformation, and observability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and deliver large-scale projects.
Requirements
  • 3–6 years of experience in database engineering or ETL development, with hands-on migration work.
  • Strong knowledge of Snowflake data ingestion, transformation, and optimization.
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
  • Experience with PySpark, DBT, and API-driven data integrations.
  • Familiarity with AWS/cloud-hosted data solutions and observability.
  • Solid track record in ETL to Data Engineering transition.
