Business Data Migration Specialist

We are seeking an experienced business data migration specialist to lead and execute end-to-end business data migration projects using a leading-edge toolset. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data management, hands-on implementation experience with the Syniti toolset, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute business data migration projects using Syniti.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze data migration requirements and create a migration strategy.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading activities.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the migration lifecycle.
  • Develop and manage mapping rules, validation scripts, and error resolution processes.
  • Provide cutover and post-migration support for smooth transition to systems.
  • Prepare documentation, reports, and dashboards on migration progress and quality metrics.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project timelines and deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years of proven experience in business data migration projects.
  • Strong expertise with Syniti tool (formerly BOA / DSP / ADM) for business data migration.
  • Hands-on experience in modules (ECC, S/4HANA preferred).
  • Solid knowledge of ETL processes, SQL, data cleansing, and transformation techniques.
  • Experience in migration of master data, transactional data, and configuration data.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex migration issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with global teams.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with S/4HANA migrations and SAP MDG.
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance practices.
  • Exposure to Agile methodology and tools like Jira.
