Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Associate Quality Assurance Lead to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Snowflake, ETL, Data Warehousing (DWH), and Data Migration (DM) testing, as well as strong leadership qualities to guide junior engineers and deliver high-quality data solutions.

About the Role:
  • This role is responsible for leading and supporting testing efforts for ETL processes, Data Warehousing, and Data Migrations with a focus on Snowflake.
  • You will design, develop, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for data validation and quality assurance.
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Perform data analysis, reconciliation, and validation between source and target systems.
  • Design data quality frameworks for Athena's Snowflake and HighTouch environments.
  • Validate data completeness, transformations, and client onboarding workflows.
  • Perform row-level and aggregated data validations across client datasets.
  • Support data governance, auditing, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and developers to ensure requirements are translated into effective testing scenarios.
  • Identify data quality issues, troubleshoot, and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Drive automation in ETL and DWH testing where feasible.
  • Ensure non-functional requirements such as performance and security are met.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical direction and knowledge sharing.
