Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, managing aged payments, and resolving queries/disputes.

Detailed Responsibilities
  • Process both PO and non-PO invoices in accordance with company procedures and controls.
  • Investigate and resolve aged payments, debit balances, and disputes.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain approvals and authorization for payment.
  • Review and check supplier master data, including opening and amending supplier accounts.
  • Manage high volumes of email queries and respond within agreed time frames.
  • Handle telephone queries in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Reconcile direct debit accounts when necessary.
  • Set up one-off payments with relevant banks.
  • Release approved purchase orders to the business.
  • Improve processes to remove manual work and ensure audit controls are strictly adhered to.
  • Prepare and process multi-currency payments for the UK and other EMEA entities.
  • Perform month-end accruals, analysis, and investigation.
  • Reconcile company credit card programs.
  • Stay up-to-date with HMRC employee expense claim guidance.
  • Provide cover during team member absences.
  • Participate in projects impacting Accounts Payable.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Accounts Payable experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls and systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, pivot tables, vlookups, and simple formulas.
  • Account reconciliation experience.
  • Self-motivation and flexibility.
  • Good communication skills for effective communication with different levels of the business.
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English.
  • Team player with strong attention to detail.
