Lead Water Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Lead Water Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading engineering design assignments in a collaborative environment on large-scale project teams.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working on wastewater modeling projects for ANZ and UK & I regions, with a strong focus on model calibration and verification. They should also be well-versed in Infoworks ICM hydraulic modeling software and have hands-on experience with tools like Water GEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, and GeoPak.

In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work well independently, and have a proven ability to lead teams and drive projects forward.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Lead engineering design assignments on large-scale project teams
  • Contribute to the development of concept, preliminary, and detailed engineering drawings and plans
  • Assist in establishing processes for working with US/Canada offices
  • Provide technical support to designers for relocation/shifting of assets, asset tagging, connection drawings, and standard drawings
Requirements
  • Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization
  • Highly motivated, hardworking, interpersonal, and enthusiastic team player that is willing to learn and adapt to change
  • US/UK/Canada experience will be an added advantage
  • Good communication skills, and ability to work well independently at times
