Job Title: Power Apps Developer

A Power Apps Developer is responsible for designing, building, and customizing business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps. They work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional, efficient applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain business applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps).
  • Build and configure workflows using Power Automate to automate business processes.
  • Integrate Power Apps with external systems (e.g., SharePoint, Azure, SQL Server) and third-party services.
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and security of applications.
Customization and Enhancements:
  • Customize existing Power Apps to improve functionality and performance.
  • Create and modify custom forms, screens, and controls based on business requirements.
  • Implement custom business logic using Power Fx and JavaScript as needed.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with business analysts, end-users, and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Provide technical support, training, and documentation for end-users.
  • Collaborate with IT and other development teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
Data Management:
  • Design and implement data models using Common Data Service (Dataverse) and other data sources.
  • Create reports and dashboards in Power BI to provide insights into business processes.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates in the Power Platform.
  • Recommend improvements and best practices for app development and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience developing applications using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, Power Fx, and Dataverse.
  • Experience with Office 365 services (e.g., SharePoint, Teams) and integration with Power Apps.
  • Familiarity with Azure services, SQL databases, and API integrations.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Power Apps development (Canvas and Model-Driven).
  • Hands-on experience with Power Automate (Flow) for building process automation.
  • Experience with Power BI for creating visualizations and reports.
  • Knowledge of Power Fx, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and other web development languages.
