Job Title: Senior Power Platform Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Platform Developer to join our team at DigiMoksha Solutions. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom business applications on Microsoft Power Platform, with a focus on leveraging Dataverse for data management and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Power Platform Development:
  • Develop custom business applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps), automating processes with Power Automate, and creating analytical reports with Power BI.
  • Build and configure Dataverse environments, including entity modeling, relationships, business rules, and data workflows.
  • Create advanced Power Automate flows for business process automation using Dataverse data, integrating with external systems and APIs.
  • Implement and maintain business logic, business process flows, and custom connectors leveraging Dataverse.
Dataverse Architecture & Data Management:
  • Lead the design and implementation of Dataverse data models, ensuring efficient data handling, security, and performance optimization.
  • Configure Dataverse security roles and ensure proper data access control and governance for users and teams.
  • Optimize Dataverse data processing by building complex queries, business rules, and integrating with Azure services where needed.
  • Work on data migration efforts from legacy systems into Dataverse, ensuring data integrity and validation.
Solution Integration & Customization:
  • Integrate Dataverse with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure services, and third-party systems using APIs, custom connectors, and Azure.
Functions:
  • Develop and deploy custom components such as Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls, custom workflows, and plugins.
  • Customize Power Apps interfaces and user experiences to align with business needs and enhance user productivity.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions.
  • Partner with cross-functional IT and data teams to ensure solutions are aligned with overall enterprise architecture and data strategy.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers and teams working on Power Platform projects.
Governance & Best Practices:
  • Ensure adherence to best practices for application lifecycle management (ALM) within Power Platform, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and environment management.
  • Implement governance and security best practices for Dataverse and Power Platform, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and internal policies.
  • Perform code reviews and optimize existing Power Platform solutions for performance, scalability, and security.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Advanced degree or certifications in relevant technologies preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with 2+ years specifically focused on Power Platform development.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in Dataverse architecture, entity design, and data modeling.
  • Strong background in developing Model-Driven and Canvas Apps using Dataverse as the primary data source.
  • Proven expertise in creating Power Automate workflows, integrating Dataverse with external data sources, and customizing Power BI reports with Dataverse.

Preferred Skills:

  • Microsoft Power Platform Certifications (PL-400, PL-600, PL-900).
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 and its integration with Dataverse.
  • Knowledge of Azure services (Azure Logic Apps, Functions, Synapse) and their integration with Power Platform.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
